This past weekend my two sisters and four of my nieces traveled from Arizona, St. George, Virginia, Salem, Salt Lake, California and Las Vegas to party it up at Disneyland for the weekend. We hadn't seen each other in a long time and it was great to have a girls weekend in the "Happiest Place on Earth!" I only wish my own girls could have made the trip...maybe next year. We had a blast doing whatever we wanted, riding whatever we wanted and doing it when we wanted without kids making the choices for us. Thank you to my sister Kris (the Queen of Disney) for arranging this trip and making us actually do it!!!
It was especially a needed break for my oldest sister Kathy, who unfortunately was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer and will be heading into surgery this week. Her doctors say right now her prognosis is good and she will have the faith and prayers of so many to help get her through this trial in her life. She has amazing faith and knows the Lord will watch over her.
