Merry Christmas to all!

It has actually been SNOWING in Saint George today ... ALL DAY LONG! Woo Hoo!!

Today we have had a regular old fashioned northern Utah snow storm....It felt very "Christmasy" tonight as we drove around town. I love the weather down here...so don't think I even want the white stuff on a regular basis -- just at Christmas time a storm is kinda nice. After December 25th -- bring on the sun!!! Winter hiking is perfect down here; bright blue sky (no inversion - ever!), a bit of a chill in the air and still the best scenery ever.

FYI -- Life has been so crazy that I am throwing in the towel and will probably not be sending out Christmas cards this year. I decided that I wasn't going to stress about it and I am NOT going to feel a bit guilty. So, those of you who read my blog -- MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We love all of our family and friends so much and hope your lives are happy, healthy and full of the promise of great things to come. We love this time of year and especially are grateful for the birth of our Savior and the spirit of charity and love that is shown by so many during the holiday season. We feel so blessed as a family. I have added a few memories of our life from this past year. So, here is our Bridges Christmas newsletter - blog style!

The cutest baby ever born arrived in June, McKay's daughter -- Jadilyn Bridges. We all love her to pieces. She will be 6 months old on Dec. 17th!

November found me in Disneyland with my two sisters and 4 of my neices -- best time ever. All girls weekend -- ah yeah!

Kauai Hawaii for my 50th birthday celebration in October. We had a fantastic time with 2 other couples and loved everything about this island -- the best island in Hawaii as far as we are concerned. GORGEOUS and has the old time Hawaiian feel which we loved.

In August, one of my high school friends (Teri) husband suprised her with a 50th birthday reunion bash in Las Vegas. Five of us met in Vegas for an amazing weekend of laughs and memories -- I hadn't seen any of them for 15 years. He got us a suite at the Bellagio, we went to see "O" and ate great food and had a blast together ... even after all those years apart. Annie lives in Seattle, Barb lives in Montana, Teri lives in Richland (Wa), and Nancy lives in San Diego.

The kids! Alexa is 20, McKay is 24, Lerin is 20 and Amber is 27 -- where did the time go?
In June Lynn, Lerin, Alexa and I took a quick 3 day trip to DISNEYLAND! We love the TOWER of TERROR, the best ride ever! Well, maybe second to SCREAMER!

SNOW College graduates -- May. Lerin and Alexa had a great two years at Snow and both received scholarships to finish their B.S. degree's .... Lerin is now at Dixie majoring in Business Administration and Information Technology and Alexa is at USU majoring in Family Consumer and Human Development (emphasis on Family and Community Services).

Hiking to Havasupai in the Grand Canyon in March -- Long hike, but soooo worth it!!! A MUST see and experience for everyone. We were sadden to hear of the horrible flooding that occured just a month or so after our trip. It still has not been opened up to tourists yet -- I hope that they can bring it back like it was before.

Lynn bought golf clubs! He gave up coaching soccer? WHAT?!

So, now we can do more hiking in Zion and other amazing spots down here...Oh yeah!

What an amazing family you have. Hope you enjoy your white Christmas, sometimes I miss a little snow on Christmas, but only a little, and for just a short time. I had such a great time seeing you this past Nov. and next time lets make sure and get your girls too. That was so much fun being together with my Aunts and Cousin again. Merry Christmas and I hope to see you all very soon!!
