My Inspiring Friend!
I just had to post a quick note today mostly to give a SHOUT OUT to my friend LINDA who has inspired me to TAKE ACTION this summer and get my house in order! I just returned from a grocery shopping adventure where I used grocerysmarts.com, manufactures coupons, store coupons and shopped only the deals at 3 stores -- I got $351.00 worth of groceries (to pad my teeny food storage - I will NEVER be caught up with Linda, but for me I am proud of my start) for only.......$207.31!!!!! Saving $144.00 in one shot feels pretty darn good. I still am not up to canning MEAT and such as "Linda-the-canning, pressure-cooker Queen", but I have also added a few precious bags of grated zucchini to my freezer ! Love ya Linda!!!

Jill, this will come so easy now... after all couponing is ADDICTIVE!!!!!! I have been to Albertsons every morning this week! Monday I spent 61.97 and saved 197.17! WHOLLY COW~ I have NEVER had a storage of anything and now I have about 20 cans of shaving cream that I paid only a dollar for or got FREE~~~ and of course lots of other stuff is starting to stack up. Today I got 30 pouches of tuna fish for 7.50! Keep on trucking girl!

JILL THAT'S AWESOME! I want to learn the coupon tricks. I have looked at all the sites and even down loaded some coupons, cut them out and forgot to take them to the store. This month a lady is coming to teach us about it for enrichment. But you are WAY ahead of me there. Love ya tons.
Ireva, Josie does that and she hardly spends anything on groceries!! She's a master at it and loves to talk about it with anyone that will talk to her about it!! You two can talk in a couple weeks!! Can't wait . . . see ya. What an adorable grand baby!!
Wow!!! You saved some big bucks!! I will have to give that website a try. Just wondering if you found the note that my mom and I left at your place a few weeks back. We came to visit you guys, but no one was home. I hope to get to see you and Lynn one of these times we are down there! Miss ya!

AWESOME! I started grocerysmarts a couple months ago and I love it! It is sooo addictive! I'm always checking out blogs for the deals! It's so fun, and it makes me feel so excited to save, save, save! You are all ready saving so much-I can't wait to see how much more you're going to save! Now I'm helping with the enrichment group in the ward and I'm teaching the women in the ward how to save-makes me sooo nervous, and hopefully I don't forget to tell them anything! GREAT JOB!!!!
