Last week Alexa, Lynn and I headed on a quick trip to DISNEY WORLD! Lynn had some meetings he was attending and Alexa and I went along for a taste of Disney and the Florida SUN. Alexa wasn't quite ready to head back up to the northern Utah tundra of Logan and thought she would love to play in Disney World with a short sleeved shirt. I was also game and we were ready.......BUT, Central Florida decided otherwise and we were LUCKY enough to arrive during the COLDEST WEEK FLORIDA has seen in 15 years! We are talking LOGAN type weather -- 27 degree's with wind chill......brrrrrrr. What is up with that? Florida actually saw SNOW the few days we were there.
BUT -- we did manage to still wear a million layers, purchase new Disney jackets (for way too much money) and hit the parks anyway. We were lucky enought to actually have one day of sun and it did crawl into the 50's for part of the afternoon, so that was a bonus. The best part was spending time with an amazing daughter -- Love her!!!
Yes, we actually wore double hoods and gloves @ Epcot!
Alexa found a Harry Potter elevator! Woo Hoo!!!
A stop at the French pastry shop in Epcot helped us manage the cold day!
The SUN finally came out in the Magic Kingdom!

Jill so darn fun you got to go to Florida & spend time with your daughter at Disney World. Even though it was cold, what an awesome memory you two made. Sure miss you tons & the fun we used to have at work! Take care.
